Samsung NPF File

If you find NPF file extracted from Samsung Phone, finding a solution?
It’s actually a mdb file used in Microsoft Access.

I confirmed this by changing the extension .npf into .mdb, and just open the file with Microsoft Access. Even legacy Access 2003 was fine to open this file without any issue…

You’re welcome. I helped my friends to do this, and I hope to help more people in the same situation. Thanks.

I love you! haha, kidding, but that was it! On linux, I could open the damn thing with “mdbtools”, because the file is a JET database. With the data on a CSV, everything is possible.

    Thanks a lot.

PS: I hope this help someone else. I find it incredible that Samsung does absolutely nothing to help you out on this one. Sure, they want to lock you in, but screw them. Also, googling about npf returns mostly spam software / websites.

Yes. it works. you showed the way to to make a seemingly complex task very simple. In Linux Ubuntu i opened the filed in MDB file viewer and exported it. The exported file opens fine as excel sheet and ready to be edited. Thanks.
